Hiking near at Parrett Mountain in Yamhill County

Lavender…oh the lavender! Today I visited the gorgeous lavender fields in Hitchin.

We walked to the fields and you could smell the beautiful scent from so far away; the powerful scent is why it works so well in my scented heart drawer fresheners in my shop.

Sadly because of Covid they aren’t permitting picking this summer but it was wonderful just to be there surrounded by the vibrant colour, seeing all the bumblebees feeding & feeling free being outdoors.
